Gentle and empathetic occupational therapist who will go the extra mile for each child.
Stacey is certified as an Ayres Sensory Integration (ASI) therapist.
After qualifying at the University of KwaZulu-Natal in 2013, with a B. Occupational Therapy degree, Stacey went on to complete her community service in 2014 in Northern KZN at Vryheid District Hospital. She then went on to explore her interests in paediatrics by working in the field of school-based occupational therapy. In 2015, she worked in the government sector at Thuthukani Special School. This is where her love of children, special needs and school-based intervention was found.
Stacey moved to a private school in Ballito in June 2016. By having more of a role in the classroom setting, she was able to see the true value of working in multidisciplinary setting in order to fully support the child.
Stacey began working at Step by Step Occupational Therapy Practice, situated in Tokai, Cape Town in 2017. She loves the wide variety of learning and training that working closely with other therapists provides.
Stacey is passionate about working with children. She is a firm believer that working as a team for the child is the best way to help them reach their full potential.
